- Cancelling your membership
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your Vengo
package deal, you can cancel it and have your membership fees reimbursed if the request is submitted within thirty (30) days following the deposit of your payment. All you have to do is call 1-866-70-VENGO or 1-866-708-3646 and a customer service agent will be happy to help you.
Please take note of the following conditions: the reimbursement is only possible if you have not yet used any of the services included in your package deal.
- Reimbursement of services used
You can obtain the reimbursement of an assistance service in the following cases :
If you do not follow the standard procedure and you opt to call a service provider yourself without first calling AXA Assistance and you pay the service fees yourself, you can be reimbursed (up to CAD$40.00). In order to be reimbursed you must send us by mail the original bill within 30 days
starting on the day that your vehicle's breakdown occurred and you
received the roadside service. It is very important that you write your Vengo Card number on the bill. The bill must be made out to your name.
If your vehicle breaks down in an exclusive towing zone, if you have not used all of your roadside assistance services included in your package deal and the location of your vehicle is situated inside of the coverage zone stipulated in your annual package deal.
The exclusive towing zone service fees that you incurred will be reimbursed within the limits of the towing coverage limit of your package deal. You must contact us by telephone within 24 hours following the incident. If this delay is not respected, the reimboursement will be limited to $50.
If you have already used all of your roadside assistance services included in your package deal and/or the location of your vehicle is situated outside of the coverage zone stipulated in your annual package deal.
You will be financially responsible for the exclusive towing zone service.
If for a legal assistance the lawyer with whom you were put into contact deems your situation too complex for them to be able to assist you over the phone, you will be reimbursed for the service if you have been billed for it. And, if your package deal includes legal assistance, this service will not count as a service used on your account.
- If, during an intervention from one of our service providers, your vehicle is damaged in any way, the service provider will be financially responsible for any incurred costs due to the damage.
